Type locality: "Hab. ins. Lord Howe. - (Fullagar et Lind.)." [Lord Howe Island, Australia]; (Zanardini 1874: 171) Lectotype: MCVE; (De Clerck 2003: 171) Notes: De Clerck (2003) notes that lectotypification was established by Allender & Kraft (1983: 118).
