Lectotype locality: 'Nordstrand de Landzunge, Pinguin Bay' (Hommersand & al. 2006: 208). Lectotype: 3 July 1883; Botanische Staatssammlung, Munich (M) M-0100496 (Hommersand & al. 2006: 208). Notes: Lectotype (tetrasporic) selected by R.W. Ricker, 28 March 1983 (barcode M-0100496). Syntype: HBG.
