Type locality: "Udo, Seongsan-eup, Seogwipo-si, Jeju-do, Korea" (Koh & Kim 2018: 3431). Holotype: 9 May 2015; Thalli are epiphytic on coralline algae, inhabiting the subtidal level at deeper than 10 m depth. JNUB E15018 (Koh & Kim 2018: 3431). Notes: Isotype: E15016 & E15017, deposited in JNUB; NIBRRD0000001643, deposited in KB.
