Holotype locality: Dung Au, Pingtan District, Fukien Province, China (Sutherland et al. 2011: 1143). Holotype: 25 February 1959; Herb. Inst. Oceanolology, Qingdao M59-2070 (Sutherland et al. 2011: 1143).
