Type locality: "Lake Trubin, Chernigovskaya oblast, Ukraine."; (Granier & Lethiers 2019: Supplementary Discussion 3) Notes: "Type material. A block of chemically fixed resin-embedded cells of the type strain, Colp- 38, is deposited in Marine Invertebrate Collection, Beaty Biodiversity Museum, University of British Columbia as MI-PR222. This constitutes the name bearing type of the new species (a hapantotype)." Type strain. Colp-38. Storing in the collection of live protozoan cultures at IBIW RAS.
