Type locality: "Rocky reef of the sublittoral zone in Porto Valitsa, Kassandra, Chalkidiki Peninsula, Greece"; (Konstantinou & al. 2020: [6]) Holotype: October 10, 2014; at a depth of 6.8 m; found to live in association with the sponge Aplysina aerophoba (Nardo, 1833).; TAU; (Konstantinou & al. 2020: [6]) Notes: Reference Strain: TAU-MAC 1315T, Thessaloniki Aristotle University Microalgae and Cyanobacteria (TAU-MAC) culture collection.
