Type locality: "Overhang of the sublittoral zone in Porto Valitsa, Kassandra, Chalkidiki Peninsula, Greece"; (Konstantinou & al. 2020: [7], [11]) Holotype: October 10, 2014; depth of 21 m; found to live in association with the sponge Axinella damicornis (Esper, 1794).; (Konstantinou & al. 2020: [7], [11]) Notes: Reference Strain: TAU-MAC 0815 T, Thessaloniki Aristotle University Microalgae and Cyanobacteria (TAU-MAC) culture collection.
