Type locality: New Zealand, Manawatawhi, northweat corner of West Island (34°11.097'S, 172°1.848'E); (Nelson & al. 2022: [4]) Holotype: K. Schnabel; 12 April 2013; directly off cave, and on steep slope to the west of the cave, 25 m depth; AK; AK384062 (Nelson & al. 2022: [4], figs 5-7)
