Xia (1985) and Abbott (1995: 191) cite Gracilaria minor (Sonder) Durairatnam. Abbott (1988) and Abbott (1995: 192) cite Gracilaria minor Chang & Xia (Chang & Xia 1962).
Included, as Corallopsis minor, in Gracilaria salicornia by Yoshida (1998: 822). According to Abbott (1995: 191), this is a synonym of Gracilaria salicornia (C. Agardh) Dawson. Abbott (1995: 192) cites Gracilaria minor (Sonder) Chang & Xia as a synonym of Gracilaria salicornia (C. Agardh) Dawson.
