Type locality: Jangil-ri, Guryongpo-eup, Nam-gu, Pohang-si, Gyeongsangbuk-do, Korea (35°57'06"N, 129°32'49"E); (Romero-Orozco & al. 2025: 5) Holotype (female gametophyte): October 12, 2023; lower intertidal; epilithic; CUK; MABIK001010651 (Romero-Orozco & al. 2025: 5) Notes: GenBank accession nos.: PP898383 for rbcL and PP898405 for COI-5P. Isotypes: CUK21261 and CUK21262.
