Type locality: Iles Anambas [Anambas Islands, Indonesia] (Silva, Basson & Moe 1996: 831). Type: Baume, surgeon on board "La Favorite"; PC? Notes: Lectotype illustration: Decaisne [1846 (1846-1864), pl. 1, fig. 1], designated by Price (2011: 190) (Belton et al., 2014: 50).
