Type locality: Port Phillip, Victoria, Australia; (De Clerck 2003: 179)LD; 49642 (De Clerck 2003: 179) Notes: Womersley (1987: 210) notes that this species is based on a Port Phillip, Vic., specimen of Wilson (probably January 1882), in LD (lectotype, 49641).
