This name is currently regarded as a synonym of Myriogramme prostrata (E.Y.Dawson, Neushul & Wildman) M.J.Wynne.

Type locality: Islas San Benito, Baja California, Mexico; (Dawson 1962: 93) Type: Neushul; 13 August 1957; Herb. Beaudette Foundation; Dawson 20292a (Dawson 1962: 93) Notes: Dawson (1962: 93) notes that the type specimen was collected at a depth of 60-75 ft.
