Type information
Lectotype locality: North Sea, Cuxhaven, Germany (53 52N, 8 42E) (Jahn, Sterrenburg & Kusber 2005: 306). Lectotype: 21 September 1839; water of the rising tide. BHUPM Taxonomic Preparation No. 540032-4 (Jahn, Sterrenburg & Kusber 2005: 306, fig. 32 ). Notes: Lectotyope designated by Jahn et al. 2005, p. 306 (ref. 012633): Taxonomic preparation no. 540032-4 in BHUPM (North Sea, Cuxhaven).

Noun (Latin), tape, little bandage.
