Type information
Type locality: Santa Barbara Island, California, U.S.A. Holotype: May 27, 1939; Epiphytic on Scinaia articulata dredged froma white sand bottom at a depth of 30-40 m on the north of the island. AHF 26803, incl. vial 826 (Dawson 1953: 27).
