Distributional notes
All records of Aglaothamnion brodiei from the Mediterranean Sea that are based on Feldmann-Mazoyer's concept of this taxon should be referred to Aglaothamnion gallicum (Furnari et al., 1999, following Maggs & Hommersand, 1994).
