Taxonomic note
Deason et al. (1991: 216) note that Neochloris bilobata was shown to be a synonym of N. alveolaris by Watanabe (1983). However, Andreeva (1998) described Parietochloris bilobata based on N. bilobata (Index Nominum Algarum). - (04 March 2011) - G.M. Guiry
