Type locality: Far Rocks, Signal Point, Lord Howe Island (Kraft 2000: 599). Holotype: G.T. Kraft & C. O'Brien; 28 Sept. 1976; in a low algal turf on the roof of of a deep undercut in a calcarenite stack, 0.5-1.5 m depth. MELU A39033 (Kraft 2000: 599).
