Type locality: Neds Beach, Lord Howe Island, Australia; (Kraft 2000: 613) Holotype: 10 Dec. 1978; rather frequent in algal turfs on the crests and edges of low bommies seaweard of the S reef flat, 6-9 m depth; MELU; A39755 (Fig. 36F) (Kraft 2000: 613) Notes: Noble & Kraft (2007: 219) cite LHI-9665 as the Holotype.
