Adjective (Latin), spread out, indeterminate, straggling; literally ‘poured out’ (Stearn 1973).
Description
"Coenogonium effusum? Krph. sp. n.
Thallus cinereo-virens, e filamentis brevibus laxe contestis constitutus et supra corticem laevem, quo planta enata, indumentum tenue late effusum efformans ; tilamenta gracilia, crass. 0,007•008 mm., septata, absque elementis obducentibus, loculis iuter septa gonidiis pavvis viridibus repletis; apothecia desunt.
Corticola -(coll. 3434).
