General Environment
This is a freshwater species.
Description
Valves strongly clavate, with an acute headpole and rounded footpole. Length 41-60 µm. Breadth 10.0-13.5 µm. Raphe slightly undulate, lateral. Axial area wide, with an undifferentiated central area containing a single stigma. Striae distinctly areolate, radiate, 10-13 in 10 µm
