Lectotype locality: Vosges, France.; (Drouet 1968: 174) Lectotype: CN; (Drouet 1968: 174) Notes: A "Holotype" an illustration in Gomont (1892, Ann. Sci. Nat. Bot. ser. 7, 16, plate 6, fig. 9") is given by Mühlsteinová et al. (2018:fig. 1 D); however, this can only be a lectotype (iconotype) and a lectotype was slected by Drouet (1968: 174, "type specimen, annotated by Kützing and studied by Gomont") in CN from Vosges in France. Epitype designated by Mühlsteinová & Guiry (2018:1): CBFS A-89-1, desiccated strain CCALA 1115 deposited in Herbarium of the University of South Bohemia, Ceské Budejovice, Czech Republic (CBFS).
