Note on authorship of Caulerpa cupressoides var. urvilleana

Using “comb. nov.”, Price (2011) proposed that Caulerpa urvilleana Montagne (1845) be treated as a variety of C. cupressoides. Hodgson et al. (2005: 25), however, can be credited with this trinomial, and they provided a full and direct reference to the basionym. Hodgson et al. had cited “Coppejans and Prud’homme van Reine” (1992) as the authors of the varietal name, but those authors used the name C. cupressoides “ecad” urvilleana.
Price (2011) treated C. cupressoides var. flabellata Børgesen (1907) as a heterotypic taxonomic synonym of C. cupressoides var. urvilleana. On the basis of Art. 11.2 (see example 3) of the Code, names hold priority only in the rank to which they have been assigned. So it might appear that var. flabellata Borgesen (1907) has priority over var. urvilleana Hodgson et al. (2004). But in checking Weber-van Bosse’s (1898) monograph on Caulerpa, we see that she described C. urvilleana var. vitiensis Weber Bosse, and when she did that, she automatically created var. urvilleana (her "var. typica"). So var. urvilleana [the nominate variety] dates from 1898, and it has priority over var. flabellata Børgesen (1907).
The question is: What is the authorship of Caulerpa cupressoides var. urvilleana?  I think that it should be: (Montagne) L.J. Hodgson, Pham Huu Tri, Lewmanomont & McDermid (2004) because the basionym of the epithet goes back to Montagne (1845).
