Taxonomic note
Accoding to Zapomelová et al. (2009: 1371), this is the basionym of Sphaerospermum reniforme. However, Sphaerospermum Zapomelová et al. 2009 is illegitimate as Sphaerospermum Cleve 1868 predates it. - (08 February 2010) - G.M. Guiry
