Type locality: Lewes-Rehoboth Canal, Sussex Co., Delaware (Desianti, Potapova & Beals 2015: table 1). Holotype: fig. 11: 1953; 6000 yards up the canal from outfall ditch of sewage oh Lewes. ANSP slide GC44907 (Desianti, Potapova & Beals 2015: 98, table 1).
