Holotype locality: Point Clune, Rottnest Island, Western Australia (32º00'S; 115º30'E); (Kraft 1988: 132) Holotype: G, Kraft, R. Ricker & P. Gabrielson; 5 December 1980; at 13 m depth, anchored to a limestone platform overlain by a shallow layer of coarse shell debris and sand; MELU; A35160 ( = K7228) (Kraft 1988: 132, figs 1, 2) Notes: Isotype: MELU A35159.
