Eponomy
Named for Bob Brody, senior biologist of the St. Johns River Water Management District, Palatka, Florida, USA.
General Environment
This is a freshwater species.
Description
As in the genus. Biflagellated motile cell small, 6-11 microns in length and 5-10 microns in width. Epitheca exceeds hypotheca, hypotheca slightly compressed ventrally on right side. Cingulum displacement descending, about one cingular width. Angle of 6" dependent on cingulum displacement.
