Type locality: Princess’s Shoal, Isle of Wight, Hampshire, England (Chamberlain & Irvine 1994: 162). Holotype: S. West & N. Thomas; 15 May 1984; On a stone at 11 m depth. BM YMC 84/212 (Chamberlain & Irvine 1994: 162).
