Adjective (Latin), thin, slender (Stearn 1983).

General Environment
This is a marine species.

Procumbent thalli with narrow, 1.5–3.0 mm, loosely dichotomous branches; proliferous branches common, initials imparting a papillate appearance to some individuals.
