Type locality: Port Clarence, Alaska [Bering Sea 65.265974, -166.852765] (Kjellman 1889: 22). Notes: "Type: apparently not designated (Woelkerling 1993: 81). TRH has two syntypes (C21-3516, C21-3517)." (Woelkering et al. 2005: 495).
