Taxonomic note
According to South & Skelton (2003: 708), Fijian meterial previously assigned to Codium platyclados Jone et Kraft (N' Yeurt et al.1996: 63), has been examined by M. Chacana and P.C. Silva, and will be described as a new species by them. - (11 May 2006) - G.M. Guiry
