Taxonomic status: currently recognized as a distinct genus.
Description: Stipitate, unbranched or sparingly branched, with lateral, short-stipitate ginkgo-like blades. Proliferous bladelets sometimes arising from stipe or other blades. Medulla of large isodiametric cells surrounded by chains of small cells. Cystocarps scattered over the upper half of blades. Spermatangia and tetrasporangia undescribed. Stipitate, unbranched or sparingly branched, with lateral, short-stipitate ginkgo-like blades. Proliferous bladelets sometimes arising from stipe or other blades. Medulla of large isodiametric cells surrounded by chains of small cells. Cystocarps scattered over the upper half of blades. Spermatangia and tetrasporangia undescribed.
Comments: Reported only from South Georgia and Graham Land in the subantarctic Atlantic.
