Description: Flat, multicellular, circular coenobia with slender cells. Outer cells with two lobes in the plane of the coenobium. Lobes are long and cylindrical, each longer than the cell is wide. Intercellular spaces typically larger than the cell diameter, cell walls typically smooth.
