Description: Deeply laciniate, lobate or flabellately branched to several orders in an umbilicate clump, decumbent. Thallus attached centrally. Holdfast small, discoid. Membranous-carnose when fresh. Medulla of large cells interspersed with filaments of smaller cells. Cortex of progressively smaller cells toward cuticle. Cystocarps large, in wart-like protuberances on upper surface of thallus. Spermatangia undescribed. Tetrasporophyte isomorphic. Tetrasporangia cruciate, scattered in cortex.
