Description: Deformed cushion-like swellings on Bossiella, 2-4 mm in diameter with erect and sparse bulb-like stems of 1-2 intergenicula. Intergenicula with many cell tiers. Tiers of equal length. Cells in tiers straight. Geniculae with one tier. Cells often partly fused in perithallium and hypothallium. Female conceptacles and male conceptacles scattered partly on the crust and partly on the articulations. Conceptacle primordia confluent. Conceptacle cavities in the mature state generally irregularly plaited. Conceptacle lid [ = roof] almost flat or slightly convex, perforated by 1-8 pores. Hemiparasitic on Bossiella.
