This is a freshwater species.
Holotype locality: Burma/Myanmar (Boedeker et al. 2012: 822). Holotype: original drawings represent the holotype material (Skuja 1949: pl. XXXVII): see below (epitype) H. Skuja; on shell of freshwater gastropod. (Boedeker et al. 2012: 822). Notes: Original specimen lost (previously in RIG). Epitype: pond in tropical hothouse, Hortus Botanicus Leiden, The Netherlands, collector: C. Boedeker (sample G91), 26 April 2006, attached on mangrove pneumatophores (submerged), L 079287, designated in Boedeker et al. (2012: 822).
