Type locality: Town Beach, Broome (122º14'E, 17º58' S), Western Australia; (Murray et al 2006: 162) Holotype: September 2003; Samples collected from the first 0.5 cm of sediment at low tide. Sediment water temperature, 22-29ºC; salinity, 38-40 psu.; (Murray et al 2006: 161, 162)
