Schub. Blindow & K. Weyer in Schubert and Blindow, 2016: 261): Notes: The lectotype later designated by Romanov (2022: 3): Wallroth; sine die; LE A0001536 (Romanov 2022: 3) was corrected to an epitype by Schubert & al. (2024: 351).

Origin of Species Name
Adjective (Latin), having tufts of long weak hairs (Stearn 1983).
