"Chara kirghisorum has been assessed as VU (Vulnerable) in the European Red List (see Chap. 9). It has been suggested for inclusion in the Red Data Book of Russian Federation as a rare stenobiont species at the border of its distribution range (Romanov and Abdullin, 2018)."
