Boenigk; 14 October 2002; 500 m asl; B; 40 0040673 (Findinig et al. 2010: 877) Notes: Also in the EPSAG culture collection (Gottingen, germany) as strain number SAG 2323 (= strain JBM10 in the collection of J. Boenigk; = strain CCMP3167 in the CCMP collection , Bigelow, USA). Fig. 5e: vegetative cell.
Origin of Species Name
Adjective (Latin), inhabiting lakes (Stearn 1973).
