Holotype locality: nórdlich Monte de Direction [= north of Mt Direction], Tangier, Morocco (Cabioch & Mendoza 1998: 209). Holotype: P. Kuckuck; 14.vi.1901; collection depth 15-20 m. TRH B16-2493 (Woelkerling et al. 2005: 332). Notes: Holotype: Kuckuck collection; TRH (no specimen number), including slide 783. Holotype; TRH B16-2493 (Peñes et al., 2015).
