Type locality: "Les premiers niveaux ayant fourni la nouvelle espèce correspondent à des passées carbonatées dans une unité puissante de 70 m et constituée presque essentiellement de marnes noires à Anchispirocyclines. Les affleurements sont situés en bordure de l'arroyo Chotayal, au Nord de la colonia La Constitucion."; (Granier & Michaud 1990: 367) Notes: Holotype: Pl. 1, fig. 5. L'holotype se trouve dans la lame MX 85-371, déposée à l'Office Nationa l de Gestion des Collections Paléontologiques, Département des Sciences de la Terre, Université Claude Bernard, Villeurbanne, France, sous le n° FSL411.136.
