Type locality: Ellesmerelands søndre kyst [= the southern coast of Ellesmereland], ved skjærene udenfor [= at the skerries outside] Havnefjorden, [Northwest Territories], Canada (Woelkerling et al. 2005: 300). Neotype: Bay [?]; 22.vi.1900; ca 15 metres. TRH B9-2255 (Woelkerling et al. 2005: 300).
