See Harvey (1848, pl. 159). "This species was described from Trieste (Italy) by Agardh (1827a: 637). Already Ardissone (1883: 60) and Hauck (1882: 89) listed it among the synonyms of Ca. borreri [= P. borreri] and of P. borreri, respectively." (Cormaci 2023: 373). - (11 May 2006) - G.M. Guiry
