This name is currently regarded as a synonym of Millerella myrioclada (Børgesen) G.H.Boo
Echinocaulon myriocladum Børgesen
Type locality: Malabar Hill, Bombay, India [Mumbai, India] (Silva, Basson & Moe 1996: 152). Holotype: F. Børgesen, no. 5235; on rock in exposed places near high water mark. C Borgesens' four slides, barcode C-A-92391 (Boo et al. 2015: 478, 479). Notes: Lectotype = specimen shown in fig. 5a fide Hatta & Prud'homme van Reine, 1991 (INA). [see discussion on pp. 479, 480 in Boo et al., 2015].
