Type locality: New Ireland, Papua New Guinea (Silva, Basson & Moe 1996: 197). Lectotype: PC TA33701 (De Smedt et al. 2001: 297). Notes: According to Silva et al. (1996) the epithet durvillaei is correctable to durvillei in accordance with Rec. 60C.1(c) enforced by Art. 60.11 of the ICBN (Greuter et al. 2000).
