Lectotype locality: King George Sound, Western Australia (Silva, Basson & Moe 1996: 644). Type: R. Brown; BM (Womersley 1987: 386). Notes: Silva et al. (1996) recommend consulting Womersley (1964: 78) for more information on the lectotype of this species.
