Type locality: Cap Malheureux, Mauritius (Harvey 1834: 157). Type: TCD (Yoshida 1998: 81). Notes: According to Leliaert & Coppejans (2004: 202), the holotype (collected by Mrs Telfair s.n.) is in BM. Cap Malheureux is a small fishing village located on the northernmost tip of Mauritius.
