The type species (holotype) of the genus Gracilariophila is Gracilariophila oryzoides Setchell & H.L.Wilson.
Status of Name
This name is currently regarded as a synonym of Gracilariocolax deformans (Weber van Bosse) Gerung & Yamamoto.
