Type locality: Kjelmø [now Kjelmøya], Finmarken [now Finnmark], Norway (Woelkerling et al. 2005: 525). Holotype: M. Foslie; 3.viii.1887; collection depth: 4-6 fathoms, ‘paa [= on] L. breviaxe’ [see (Woelkering et al. 2005: 525]. TRH C26- 3775 (Woelkerling et al. 2005: 525).
